Sometimes things do not work out as expected, if so please read through this section before contacting your service organization or dealer. Chances are that you are able to solve the issue yourself.
The section 'Troubleshooting' is set up in a Symptom - Prognosis - Resolution format, that is first the symptom is given, then the possible causes and then the resolution for those causes.
Prognosis: Spider RFID Reader is not in HID RAW Mode
Scope: N/A
Resolution:
A - let it automatically go to to HID RAW Mode
Symptom(s): My Spider RFID Reader does not respond
Prognosis: Spider RFID Reader is not connected
Scope: N/A
Resolution:
A - Connect the Spider RFID Reader to the USB port of your PC or laptop
Symptom(s): My Spider RFID Reader acts strange
Prognosis: RFID Card reader either version too old or the firmware is a mismatch with the configuration or the hardware
Scope: N/A
Resolution:
A - Please contact our inepro Service Portal at https://service.inepro.com/
Prognosis: Your Project Lock Token does not match the one in the Spider RFID Reader
Scope: All Spider RFID Readers / All Spider RFID Reader Tool later then 2.2.
Resolution:
A - Retrieve the correct Project Lock Token.
Prognosis: Your Configuration Password does not match the one in the Spider RFID Reader
Scope: All Spider RFID Readers / All Spider RFID Reader Tool later then 2.2.
Resolution:
A - Retrieve the correct Configuration Password.
